I received this lightsaber within just TWO days after ordering it. Much better than the TWO MONTH wait I experienced for my Skywalker lightsaber from "Icons." The packaging itself is beautifully presented, with a classy black box and a red embossed "Revenge of the Sith" logo on it. From the moment you see that, you know you're about to uncover something special when you open the box. Ten times more exciting than Christmas! Also different from my experience with the "Icons" Skywalker lightsaber, I was struck with how heavy this Obi-Wan Kenobi saber was, weighing in around ten pounds I believe. I was also struck with how skinny this piece is, clearly more sleek than the "A New Hope" version Obi-Wan used. Still, the design is faithful to the one Old Ben used in "A New Hope" but with shiny pristine copper accents and brass with high-gloss black on the "grenade" handle portion of the prop. The balance on this piece is exquisite, making me feel as if a true Jedi Master alone could wield such a fantastic weapon. Gorgeous piece. [ Back ]
