The Ahsoka show is coming in a few months time, no doubt we’ll be seeing a few 6” figures released for the show.

Please discuss the potential Captain Enoch, (Thrawn’s right hand man) 6” figure from the show here.

In case anyone was curious Wes Chatham (Amos from the Expanse) plays the character. I would be a little surprised that they would cast a somewhat well known actor in a part and eventually not show their face. Even his voice wasn't recognizable.

I am a little weirded out by the face plate, yet it also looks kind of cool.

Same and same.

Also a little weirded out by his name. Delve deeper Dave :-D

Interesting. I took the name as referencing the Enoch of Genesis. Therefore, the Enoch of the Beginning who, it is said, did “not see death.” So I thought it very apt, and quite cool. But I’d like to hear your take. :)

I get the biblical references, and it is a cool name. Maybe something less extraordinary... all the new characters seem to have names reflecting something either mythological or religious from our world, or some relation to wolves. :)

Ah. Yes, I see what you mean.

If this turns in to some sort of Battlestar Galactica saga where it turns out Jar Jar is the angel Gabriel, and this new galaxy leads to a Marvel crossover I will genuinely hunt down Filoni and Fav.

In seriousness though, I'm not a big fan of such obvious biblical (or otherwise) easter eggs. Not because I'm not a believer, its just a bit...on the nose. The shard from Mandalore quoting Exodus for instance.

I'll merge this with the original thread. This trooper is weird but gives me 60's/70'S sci-fi vibes.

Definitely the right interpretation - Enoch also becomes Metatron, God's right-hand man as he is to Thrawn in the show, who they all seem to worship.

I love the look! That first appearance when he turned to the camera was a cool reveal. Definitely a purchase for me when the inevitable figure gets announced (unless they go cheap with the sculpt and paint apps)

Ugh. :cautious:

I know the Roman Empire is the hot subject of the day (and something I think about since my family's roots are still planted firmly outside Rome to this day) I really don't like the design.

While I do feel they're trying too hard to mimic the Samurai vibe, I thought the bandits were probably the best design. This one is a blunder in my eyes, either go full Samurai or don't bother.

It also feels very reminiscent to Phasma where overhype d character turns out to be boring in the end. Some of the fan art depicting this character was far more interesting looking which is likely why the real thing feels so boring and generic.

Ezra (=“Hope”) always seemed a bit on the nose for Star Wars, especially considering the timeline, birth on Empire Day, etc.

I wonder if that entire army is just another green fart in the wind

Star Wars has always been chock full of on-the-nose names. 😄

Sidious
Maul
Savage Opress
Whorm Loathesome
Grievious
Tyranus
Elian Sleazebaggano
Cikatro Vizago (literally translates to "scar face")
Porkins
Lobot
Sha'a Gi
Nik Sant
Ima Gun Di

By comparison, names like Enoch and Ezra don't seem so bad. 😜

I won't be surprised if this is spot on and this guy gets next to no more screen time.

I’m all for specific character stormtroopers. Just please not a multipack like the VC.

Also, he’s a little more buff then most stormtroopers, so I hope he gets a new mold.

At least they didn't hype him before the show. His unique/creepy helmet is way more memorable than Phasma's. He might have been one of the Royal Guards that was with Thrawn during the rebels finale.
